Our local schools are some of the finest in the country. I am proud to say my children attend the local schools. People are drawn to our area from all over because of the excellence of our schools. The local schools consistently do extremely on national and local tests and have the support of the community. There is a wide range of extracurricular activities available to the students. Stevenson High School - Stevenson High School has won many awards for academic See Listings excellence. Serving parts of Long Grove and Buffalo Grove, it was rated one of the top 100 high schools in the country by Newsweek Magazine in its May 16, 2005 issue. It is the only public school in Illinois to earn a top 100 spot in both 2005 and 2003.
